Administrative – Accounting Assistant
This Administrative Assistant – Accounting Assistant performs a range of secretarial responsibilities, administrative duties, invoicing, bookkeeping, and provides support for CFO, CEO, General Manager, the management team and Board of Directors.
Administrative/Accounting Assistant Responsibilities:
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assist with general administrative tasks
- Support daily accounting team activities
- Assist with Accounts Payable/Receivable
- Make Bank Deposits
- Answer the telephone and forward calls to the appropriate member of staff
- Greet visitors, sign visitors in and notify the person they are here to see
- Create and maintain purchase order records and receipt of products
- Preparation of weekly payroll
- Preparation and distribution of regular monthly reports for Com Net Board, Shareholders and management
- Maintain documentation files
- Conduct monthly physical inventory counts
- Order standardized items from approved suppliers for inventory and/or customer request
- Daily pick up/drop off of mail at the local post office.
- Prepare and submit customer invoices
- Monitor customer accounts for non-payment and delayed payment

Working Conditions:
This working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. This work requires occasional lifting of moderate objects during the workday.
Education and Experience:
Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or university; or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
